I know we didn’t get to see each other that much over the last several years with everything going on, but you can bet Bonnie, Linda and all the kids always kept me well informed! I will always remember the times we spent together when Linda and I visited and when you and Bonnie were able to make it out West. You will be missed by all and your memory will last forever with us. With heartfelt grief we have to say goodbye to my brother-In law today. A quiet soul with a big heart and a infectious smile. You will be forever on our mind, happy faced to my soul and a piece of my heart will always be tarnished because of your absence. Our family has been crippled but with all the wonderful memories we have of you and time passing we will move forward, as we know that's what you would want for us, and healing will begin. Today dear brother in-law, we will say so long. When I look at the clouds and see , what appears as a happy face, I will think of you, that trade mark happy face you always teased me about on the parcels I would send. My favorite memory of my Uncle Arnold/Babysitter, will always be of my sister and I sitting in the back of his SUPER B CHARGER on a Tuesday night waiting for Nanny Lovely and my Mom to finish Home League. Our little talks during that time were unforgettable. Goodbye to one of the good guys and don't forget one of the best softball pitchers I ever saw.

Where do I even start. What a man. A legend, a idol for most of the people who had a chance to know him. Or have worked with him. He was a great father, a great husband and a great grandfather. I am sure glad I could help him over the years as he helped me. Something I will always cherish in some of the talks we have had. I'm still in shock at the news of Arnie leaving this world. Whenever I would see him walking over for a coffee, beer or simply to chat, it always made me feel good having his presence nearby. Regardless of our conversations, he would always take a moment to proudly speak about his kids or to express his heartfelt concerns for his loving wife.

Arnie's selfless acts to all that touched his life was undoubtedly one of his greatest qualities. Not only for Leslie and I but any neighbor could confidently leave home for extended periods knowing he was "Holding the Fort" until our return.

I will miss you my friend.

My father (dude) and I the last few years were not as close as I would have liked, none the less I loved his silly smirk he had all the time. My father never judged people, always stayed open minded unless mom told him otherwise. I remember him working all the time to stay ahead not being able to play with us kids. It was only after i had my own kids that I realized it wasn't that you don't want to play you are simply just exhausted from dealing with the bs from work. On downtime though his whole life was his kids, even more when the grandkids started coming.

Dad didn't call me David or Dave very often (only when he was upset/mad)it took a lot to get him there. Working along side him for many years at Tippet's it was like an unwritten rule I didn't call him dad he didn't call me Dave. He started calling me "Bud" I responded "Dude" it stuck and many summers went by it was only when my brother started working with us that other people started to realize we were related.

Some of my favourite memories of my dad was climbing in/out of that 5 ton moving other people's belongings and protecting crappy furniture with padding and tape on everything.

Dad you are no longer with us in person, however always in our hearts. We were speaking of you last night and I remember all the times you caught me sneaking in or out of the basement window. Again, never judging he would say " Why don't you just use the darn door" My response was always I didn't want to wake you. He'd say "Hows that working for you" Good times. I know he didn't say much to mom because he could look at her and she would somehow figure it out. My dad was simply a great person, always willing to help anyone with a problem and put them before himself. A man of few words, a great deal of loyal friends. He was a father, grandfather, devoted husband to my mother, son and brother. Most importantly my sounding board, my hero, my dude and my friend. You are missed and always on my mind.
