ATKINSON, Helen A. - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Atkinson from Campbellford, at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on December 20th, 2020, in her 99th year. Predeceased by her parents Burness Steele and Ruby Taylor, and also by her siblings. Cherished mother of Patricia Donald of Campbellford, Gail Dewland (Bill) of Digby NS, Gary Atkinson of Campbellford, David Atkinson of Trenton, and Robert Atkinson. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kathy Hale (nee Donald), William Dewland (Heather), Jennifer Waine (Mike), and predeceased by her granddaughter (Patricia) Ann Donald. Also will be missed by her great-granddaughters Kimberly Hale and Jade Dewland. Due to COVID-19, a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Helen’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
