Obituary for Doris Agnes Roloson (Marontate)
ROLOSON, Doris A. (nee Marontate)
August 18, 1933 – January 1, 2021
Peacefully passed away at Kentwood Nursing Home with family by her side at the age of 87.
Doris was predeceased by her late husband Earl in 2014 and together they had 9 Children: Joanna (William Burrows) of Demorestville, Frances (Donald Gyde) of Picton, William Roloson (Patricia Strike) of Kingston, Margarette (Donald Tuttle) of Cherry Valley, Vivian (Al Murack) of Plainfield, James Roloson (Laurieann) of Ameliasburg, Frank Roloson of Picton, John Roloson (Christine Hodgson) of Cherry Valley and Tammy (Robert Spencer) of Picton. Doris was proud of and will be missed by her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and is also survived by her twin Sister Dorothy (late Pieter Dieleman) of St. Thomas, her brother Paul (Joan Marontate) of Simcoe, sister-in-law Shirley (late Harry Marontate) of Detroit Michigan, She is also predeceased by her sister Dora (Don Hardaker) of St Thomas, and brothers Dick (Evelyn Marontate) of St Thomas, John (Clara Marontate) of California. Doris is also predeceased by her parents Ivan Marontate and Agnes Beales (late Arthur).
The Roloson family would also like to give a Huge Thank you of Appreciation and Gratitude from the bottoms of our Hearts to all of the Superhero Staff and Everyone at Kentwood Park Nursing Home in Picton for all the Love, Care, Compassion, Generosity, Unselfishness, Respect, Courage and Heartwarming Kindness they have given our Mom for the time she resided there.
Cremation arrangements have been made with JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Hastings-Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
