Below is a list of questions and responses that we commonly receive at the funeral home. We will continue to include any new questions in this section that we feel would be helpful to others.

If you would prefer to call us on the telephone, our staff would be pleased to provide an answer to any funeral related matter you may have. If we do not have the answer immediately, we will find it for you and contact you the minute the information is in our hands.

Q Do I have to prepay ?

A  No. You are under no obligation to prepay. A pre-arrangement file can be kept at the funeral home with no money down.

Q Can I change my pre-arrangements if I decide to in the future ?

A Yes. You can change or add new things to your pre-arrangement at any time.

Q Should I have an executor ?

A Yes. You should definitely have an executor named in a legal Will. Your spouse, son, daughter, other relation, lawyer or banker are some examples of who could be your executor. Please make sure they know your wishes and have a copy of your pre-arrangements.

Q Can I transfer my pre-arrangement to another funeral home ?

A Yes. There might be administration fees charged by the funeral home you pre-arranged with, if the services were pre-paid.

Q Am I allowed to call your funeral home and ask how much is in trust for my pre-paid funeral ?

A Yes. We will tell you, or your executor, any time, how much is in trust for your pre-paid funeral.

Q Will the casket or urn ,that I choose when pre-arranging, stay the the same ?

A In most cases, yes. Sometimes a casket or urn goes out of production. We will provide one of equal quality, value, and look, if the original is not available. This change would be approved, at- need by your executor or legal representative.

Q After pre-paying for my funeral , can I bring any merchandise home ?

A Yes and no. Caskets and urns must stay at the funeral home, eventhough they are pre-paid. You can take an urn home if you pay for it separately, from the money put in trust.
